Remain committed to the Good Friday Agreement: Completed (Maintaining)
The Good Friday Agreement was a major development in the peace process between the UK and the Republic of Ireland over the disputed governance of Northern Ireland. This agreement underwrites and is included in the constitution of the devolved Northern Ireland government.

The Government has reaffirmed its committment to the Good Friday Agreement in a position paper in August 2017.
